【WILLIAM PALMER - Debut Collection - 2026SS 】
This collection playfully explores British masculinity through humor and satire, challenging traditional and masculine stereotypes.
Inspired by personal experience, it reflects the pressure of being surrounded by aggressive expressions of masculinity and the psychological toll it takes. A turning point in this exploration occurred after I moved back to London from Paris.
The reality of working minimum wage jobs and societal pressures to earn and "prove one's worth" further reflected the rigid concept of the "earner's wage," where a man's value is tied to economic success. This concept is humorously subverted by the introduction of a bread duffle bag, and bite marks scattered across garments reflect the concept of the earner and taking from others while embracing imperfections in a world obsessed with perfection. Parallels to adolescence are drawn, particularly through the use of "wedgies," a playful childhood ritual that often indicates dominance within a group of boys.
Reflecting how early experiences shape adult behavior, childhood playfulness and adult masculinity are merged in the collection through hybrid pieces of underwear and hoodies.
The raw, cheeky energy of youth culture is captured in these designs, embodying a spirit of youthful rebellion while questioning the toxic traits associated with traditional masculinity. By incorporating this childlike quality, the collection also serves as a critique of the pressure placed on men to conform to rigid norms, while proposing a more inclusive and expressive masculinity that allows for emotional vulnerability, imperfection, and a departure from socially prescribed expectations.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE
Returns (Domestic)
We accept returns within 7 days of product arrival. If you wish to return an item, please contact us at janastra.apparel@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the product.
Items eligible for return must meet the following conditions:
・Unused and unworn ・Product tags attached ・Original packaging complete ・Proof of purchase (receipt, etc.)

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Items that have passed "8 days or more" since arrival. Accessories, warranty cards, disadvantage tags, sale items. Items with tags removed or lost. Items that have been used once. Items that have been altered, washed, or dry-cleaned. Items with odors, stains, or scratches. Items with lost or damaged packaging (bags, boxes, etc.). Items with lost warranty cards or product tags. Sale items cannot be returned.
Returns cannot be accepted for reasons due to customer convenience, such as "the item was different from what I imagined" or "I made a mistake in ordering."
Exchanges
For exchanges due to size differences, the return shipping fee and re-shipping fee for the exchange will be borne by the customer (prepaid). For exchanges, please inquire by email or phone.
International Returns
The following conditions apply to international returns: ・Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. ・Original shipping costs are non-refundable. ・Customs duties and import taxes are non-refundable (as they are collected by the customs authorities of each country).

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
