【MARIJN VAN KREIJ】

Dutch artist Marijn van Kreij is known for his drawings and collages based on existing images.
His subjects range from fine art and comics to illustrations in children's books, book covers, and record jackets.

Van Kreij meticulously observes and meticulously copies the images he collects to deepen his understanding.
He then connects multiple sources with associative threads to create new compositions, freeing them from their original meanings and contexts.

Even works that at first glance appear to be accidental or improvised are actually the result of a long process of contemplation, placement, and rearrangement.
